Service Description
Prices include VAT (19%), materials and access to tools and aprons. The workshop Ceramic Starter 2 teaches you all the important techniques and methods to create unique ceramic pieces. The workshop requires the Ceramic Starter 1. After this workshop you will be able to work independently on your ceramic projects in a ceramic studio. You will leave this session inspired and passionate about clay and ceramics. This workshop will introduce you to the essential hand building techniques such as pinch pot making, coiling method, slab building and free shaping, teaching you the skills to create your own ceramic objects such as vessels, figures or sculptures from scratch. For your created work that you wish to take home, you can use our firing service (2€/kg). If you wish to learn the skills on the potters wheel, please book the Wheel throwing, Beginners class.
