1% of all sales to the Planet

HANDFUL donates 1% of all sales to the Planet. This is a lifetime commitment. The idea is simple: Clay is a natural product and we are grateful for it being available to us. So it comes only natural to stand up to protect the natural environment.

We are one of the 2,000+ members, in over 45 countries, coming together to protect the future of our Planet.

So far, 1% For The Planet businesses have donated over $225 million to their approved environmental nonprofits.

We don't stop here

We consider ourselves a conscious and responsible company. Being aware of oneself, including body, mind and actions as well the surroundings means a lot to us. That includes the process of setting up the workshops. the studio and running the business with an awareness for what we offer, why and what impact it has on the people and the environment.

HANDFUL's approach is to inspire people, offer moments of deeper connection and allow insights to appreciate the process and the experience at least as much as the physical outcome.

Feeling more deeply - firing less

If we can take joy from the making itself we might be able to end up reducing the firings of physical product and celebrate the embodied experience rather than a ceramic object. This is an inspirational thought. We do support the love and joy of a handmade object. We would like to create awareness though for everything that is born into this world, taking up space on the Planet.

We trust in your judgement

We believe less is more. Having a few selected items that we are deeply connected to, is more important to us than having everything that is possible.
