During Berlin Art Week 2025 the collaborative exhibition “Silent Traces” shows ceramic sculptures by Anke Buchmann in combination with analogue printing by Yev Kazannik. Traces of process, light, memories and emotions are transported as themes into abstract photography and the tactile realm, offering an authentic experience that deepens the viewers' engagement with the moment, time and impermanence.

In Silent Traces, Anke Buchmann explores how moments, gestures, and emotions inscribe themselves into form. Her works trace the invisible: the rhythm of breath captured in clay, the delicate balance of perfection and flaw revealed in geometric vessels, and the fleeting shades of feeling embedded in tiny ceramic paintings. Each series becomes a quiet record of presence, where time and experience leave their subtle imprints. Together, they invite viewers to sense what usually remains unseen, yet silently endures.

by Yev Kazannik

The analogue photographic prints by Yev Kazannik bring together fragments of memory and transforming them into poetic, unconventional artworks that reveal hidden patterns of the past.“Ultimately, my series of lumen prints is about exploring the boundaries of photography and pushing the limits of what's possible with this medium."
