Service Description

This is a 2h pottery beginner's session in the Berlin studio. The price includes a workshop for 2 people, access to two throwing wheels and a private teacher, VAT (19%), material and firing service. This session is a private session for you and the person of your choice. Come together and enjoy a private session for just the two of you. What is the session about? The Pottery Taster is the first contact on the throwing wheel, ideal for beginners in ceramics or beginners at the wheel. The course is very individually tailored to your needs. The session can be booked alone or in pairs (if 2 vouchers are available). No skills or experience are required. The course: During the 2h session, the focus is put on the clay experience, material knowledge and basic gestures on the wheel. The created work is then dried, fired and glazed and can then be picked up afterwards. This session is perfect for everyone who has always wanted to try pottery on the wheel. After the course if your passion has sparked, the 4-day pottery course can be booked. Special conditions: Also please be aware, that throwing with long fingernails can turn out to be extra challenging. I suggest to come with cut nails. In terms of cloth it is advisable to wear comfortable cloth, that can be washed at 40*C and shoes that are easy to clean. Better you leave to your dress and high heels at home. The workshop is aimed primarily at adults, but is suitable for people between the ages of 12 and 108.
