Details: Date: 22 Feb 2026, 11am - 4pm Language: english and/or german Step into a unique ephemeral ceramics workshop in Berlin's mindful ceramic studio, where the focus is entirely on process, presence, and self-discovery. Over 5 hours, you will work directly with clay guided by craftsmanship, mindful touch and attention to detail, creating forms that you will intentionally release at the end. Let's connect together to what makes us human. When was the last time you dedicated your full presence, care and love to a task - just for the joy of the moment? There is a power in knowing the final physical outcome will be destroyed in the end and to still give it all you got. Grounded in research on embodied cognition - where “making is thinking” (Richard Sennett) and “the hand is the cutting edge of the mind” (Frank R. Wilson) - this workshop centers creation as an act of presence rather than production. This workshop is an antidote to AI, to the aim to be productive, useful or to function. We will be using one of the essential hand-building techniques and create a clay object inspired by a set theme (topic) for the session. This is how it works: Part 1: Introduction of process & theme, demonstration chosen hand-building Part 2: Creating individual clay object as visual answer to the set theme Part 3: Letting go of the creation & group sharing This workshop is designed to: - Awaken boldness, freedom of expression, and childlike joy - Silence the inner critic and free you from perfectionism - Nurture your nervous system and foster calm, embodied presence - Cultivate gratitude, inspiration, and awareness of impermanence - Allow you to leave with insights and tools that enrich daily life, rather than a physical object In this intimate setting, the clay becomes a mirror for your gestures, your presence, and your creativity — allowing you to fully inhabit the moment and experience the aliveness of making. What to Bring: - Comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting clay on - Open mind and curiosity - Optional notebook for reflections Who This Workshop Is For: - Anyone seeking stress relief, creative exploration, and personal growth - People interested in mindfulness, embodiment, and experiential art - Those curious about process over product and the transformative power of letting go No experience needed but welcome.
